Joan Van Ark, formerly from the Knots Landing fame, has turned 64. She has tried unsuccessfully to fight aging with cosmetic surgery on her face. Her latest public appearance at a Hollywood event has shocked people. She had blotches on her face and it was stiff like a mask. She did not wear lipstick on her injected lips.

Joan filmed a recent guest appearance in Nip/Tuck; a TV drama. During that time, the makeup artist and hair stylist had to spend hours preening her looks. Joan was observed to be very diet conscious. She ate only one banana and drank several glasses of honey-water.

Joan also criticized the onset lighting and the production crew obliged with four hours of work trying to get the effect she desired.
