Britney’s Jive Records label was afraid that she would not show up for her video shoot. They could not let the $500,000 project go to waste so they asked Samantha Jade to stand by. They would alter the set to accommodate for Samantha’s video if Britney failed to show up.

There was another story on Britney calling her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, to attend her birthday party. She used Paris Hilton’s phone. Either she lost her cell phone or wanted Kevin to think that Paris was dialing him when her cell number showed up in the call number trace.
