Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise attended the 2007 Bambi Awards in Germany last week so Cruise could accept an award for his risk-taking selection of movie roles. The actors latest gig is a starring credit in the movie Valkyrie, which details the failed Operation Valkyrie plot to kill Adolf Hitler. A rep for the Bambi Awards said, “Tom Cruise is making an international public familiar with a story that has never before been the theme of a major Hollywood production: the German resistance against the Third Reich.”

While Tom was getting kudos for his illustrious acting career, Katie was by his side sporting a new hairstyle that has stirred quite a buzz. Comments have been made in the press about Katie taking a cue from the hairstyle of Baby Suri. I just think Tom and Katie look over-done. Their new look is too over-the-top and cosmopolitan. It definitely looks like they’re sharing the same stylist – and they should consider firing the consultant!
