Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are selling their New York apartment for a $4.7 million profit. The 21-year-old Olsen twins have never even lived in the 12 room Greenwich Village property but have now put it on the market for $12 million. The millionaire starlets have been renting out the spectacular condo for $35,000 a month since they first purchased it in 1994 for $7.3 million. The twins bought the 6,000-square-foot penthouse before moving from Los Angeles to the Big Apple. Prior to moving in, they planned extensive renovations on the new apartment.

Real estate agent Charlotte Van Doren said: “The apartment has been rented, and has been continually rented since they first bought it.” The apartment’s main feature is a 53ft-long entertainment space with a glass-enclosed fireplace in the center. The condo also boasts views of the Hudson River from the living/dining room, the master bedroom, the master dressing room and the two other bedrooms. It has two separate 100sq ft walk-in closets too.

The twins’s representative, Michael Pagnotta tells “People” magazine, “It turned out to be too much space, along with the fact that the renovation was going to take far longer than anyone expected. It just didn’t make sense anymore. Their needs changed in terms of their living situations. The school year is coming to the end and they might not be around to supervise the renovations and it just didn’t make sense.”

Mary-Kate and Ashley – who in 2005 were estimated to have a combined net worth of $300 million – have a lucrative brand including their own fashion and accessories range, their own film series and successful acting and modelling careers. Last week, Mary-Kate was admitted to a hospital with a “kidney infection”. She has since recovered and has been spotted dining out and shopping with Ashley in New York.

In January 2005, the twin moguls decided to spend their second semester in their own individual digs. Mary-Kate moved out of the pair’s three-bedroom Tribeca apartment and into a spacious loft in Soho. Ashley remained in Tribeca.

Britney Spears stripped off in the middle of an adult shop to try on raunchy underwear. The “Gimme More” singer visited West Hollywood’s X-rated Hustler Store and although staff told her she couldn’t try on the lingerie, she lost her temper and whipped off her panties in front of shocked shoppers.

A source told “Us Weekly” magazine: “Staff employees told her they don’t allow people to try on underwear.”She looked out of it. There was nothing going on behind her eyes. She threw a fit and took off her underwear and tried on a pair of boy shorts with ‘Barely Legal’ stitched across the rear end in the middle of the store while 15 other customers looked on in astonishment.”The employees kept saying, ‘Don’t change out here!’ She’s just like, ‘Well, I couldn’t take them in the fitting room!’ It was like dealing with a child.”Britney’s mood reportedly worsened when staff asked her to pay for the underwear, and she stormed out of the store snatching a wig as she left.

The 25-year-old singer is apparently obsessed with lingerie and adult toys. Her mansion allegedly boasts a secret double-locked X-rated “den of sin” complete with a mirrored ceiling, spanking paddles, whips, handcuffs and a closet full of “kinky outfits.” A source told “America’s Star” magazine: “Britney is sexually obsessed. The ‘Fantasy Room’ is loaded with ticklers, whips, fur-trimmed handcuffs and much, much more. She wears Catholic schoolgirl uniforms, a maid’s uniform and a Cinderella outfit.”

Do you remember Rodney King, the man who was videotaped being beaten by Los Angeles police in 1991? He was shot and injured on San Bernardino street on Wednesday. Rodney called the Rialto police around midnight to report the incident.

The police sergeant, Don Lewis, told the press that Rodney was hit in the face and arm. The bullets looked like birdshot or pellets. The police went to his home and found Rodney and the other occupants drunk. The police then dialed for an ambulance and Rodney was sent to the hospital. His injuries were not critical.

Some people do anything and everything to get some exta cash and that is exactly what Emily Sander, a student at Butler Community College did. She led a double life as an internet porn star. Emily was known online to her clients as Zoey Zane. The word is that one of her customers may have possibly murdered her after she went missing.

Nude photos of 18-year-old Emily Sander appeared on a Zoey Zane Web site before she vanished, and investigators are looking into whether her modeling had anything to do with her disappearance last Friday.

“She enjoyed it. She is a young teenage girl and she wanted to be in the movies and enjoyed movies. She needed the extra money,” Nikki Watson, a close friend of Sander’s at Butler Community College, told The Associated Press on Wednesday. “Nobody in El Dorado knew besides her close friends.”

She was last seen leaving a bar near Wichita, Kansas with a man she had just met. Hopefully Zoey will end up being found but the chances of that seem to be very slim. The man she met, Israel Mireles, did not show up for work the next night. His apartment was thrashed and a large quantity of blood was found. The bed sheets were missing.

The Hooker’s Ball has been sponsored by a company dealing in porn/ pornography products. Each ticket to the ball costs $25. The Australians love Tara. The billboard poster proudly proclaimed her as belonging to Hollywood’s A-list. There was a spelling mistake in “American” pie.

Tara was last in the gossip news for her infamous odor. She often carried the smell of cigarettes and alcohol around her. Bill Lawrence said that Tara was a nice person to work with except for the odor.

Naomi Campbell was shy when the cameras caught her with Formula One race driver, Lewis Hamilton. They were at the Camden Roundhouse gala before leaving for London’s Dorchester Hotel.
