Amy Winehouse quits singing.

Amy Winehouse has cancelled the remainder of her tour. She said that she could not perform with her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil. Amy’s record company, Island Records, has also quoted her doctor’s medical advice for her to rest and take care of her health. A statement said that her tour was physically exhausting and this, coupled with her poor emotional state, was damaging to Amy’s health.
After her concert in Brighton, Amy was seen leaving her Grand hotel room in the wee hours of the morning. She roamed the streets aimlessly and when photographers started snapping shots, she pulled up her Tee shirt and covered her nose. She knew about the media’s obsession with her nostrils and tried to hide them.

I hope she does get back to music when she is in a better state, both physically and emotionally. I really like her music. It would be a waste of talent for her to quit.
