News Update – Oprah Winfrey defends herself regarding Dr. Jan Adams.

Oprah Winfrey was challenged when a news agency questioned why she promoted Dr. Jan Adams on “The Oprah Winfrey Show.” After a fortnight of silence, Oprah’s representative has talked. There was a defensive argument as to why Dr. Jan Adams was promoted despite not having board certification for plastic surgery.

The reason was that he was invited as a commentator to discuss medical television and not advertize his trade as a surgeon. Oprah’s staff have removed all references to Dr. Jan Adams from the official website.

However, investigations revealed that Oprah did recommend Dr. Jan Adams indirectly or in a joking manner. A member of the audience voiced that she was searching for a plastic surgeon and Oprah suggested Dr. Jan Adams.
