Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, loves her mysterious red thread.

Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, is suspected to be a follower of Kabbalah, the traditional Jewish cult. She wore the customary red woven thread tied around her wrist. Camilla showed steadfast devotion to her belief as she refused to remove her thread even when she attended her mother-in-law’s state banquet on Friday night.
Camilla’s red thread took the same place of honor as her diamonds. The press offered a couple of theories. One suggestion was that Camilla was bonding with her step-sons, Prince William and Prince Harry. They both wore leather bangles on their wrists. Another suggestion was that Camilla has converted to the Kabbalah faith.
Camilla’s spokeswoman from Clarence House has clarified with the press. She said that the red thread was from a visit to the Shri Swaminarayan Mondir Temple, in London. Camilla and Prince Charles had visited the temple together. It was presented to her as part of the Hindu celebrations on Nov. 9. Was anyone disappointed with this explanation?
