Christina Applegate became PETA’s spokesperson for Christmas 2007. She was nude for this photo shoot. Her red and green gloves showed her support of the coming festive season but she had an important message to spread. She wore the gloves because she had supported PETA’s campaign not to buy and wear fur. The green cuffs are fake fur or synthetic material.

Christina wanted to pass the message that fabric gloves are just as good or even better. They were so warm that they could warm the entire body. Well, that was the indirect message that was suggested. People will be keeping a close eye on Christina now to catch her in real furs.
