New Legal Woes for Britney Spears

Britney’s newest legal problems don’t involve her kids or her driving. She’s in some serious trouble for using the Vuitton name without permission. Louis Vuitton filed a suit against the “Toxic” singer for showing a pink Vuitton dashboard in her “Do Something” music video. The Hummer Brit is driving in the clip features a “Cherry Blossoms” design that resembles the Vuitton trademark look. The lawsuit claims that the video violated counterfeiting laws

A French court found in favor of the designer, and ordered Sony BMG and MTV Online to cease any broadcasting or showing of the music video. Both parties were also fined $117,000 each.
