Buyer to Flip Michael Vick’s Virginia Home
Posted on November 22, 2007Wilbur Ray Todd Jr. recently purchased the Surry County, Va., property that was once the home base of NFL quarterback Michael Vick’s dogfighting operation. Todd bought the 4,608-square-foot home to renovate and to hopefully make a profit at an auction planned next month.
The five-bedroom, 4 1/2 -bathroom white-brick home, which sits on 15 acres, down a rural county road, was custom built in 2003 for Vick to be the home base for Bad Newz Kennels. Its assessed value is $747,000. Todd purchased it for $450,000.
Mickael Vick is currently being housed at The Northern Neck Regional Jail until his sentencing on a federal dogfighting charge in three weeks. He faces up to five years in prison. He turned himself into authorities earlier this week.
