Ellen DeGeneres

The Writers Guild of America has expressed their disappointment with Ellen DeGeneres. She has crossed the picket line and worked instead of staying on strike with the writers. Some of Ellen’s peers who were regular hosts of comedy shows have remained supporting the writers.

The writers stressed that Ellen had performed comedy on her show. Since she had substituted her own work for the comedy that was usually written by writers, Ellen was doing “stuck work”. Ellen was said to have violated the strike rules.

The source for this article appealed to the public to support the writers strike. Readers can contact Ellen at : http://ellen.warnerbros.com/show/dearellen/
