Amy Winehouse attended the first court hearing of her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil. She was supported by Pete Doherty and her father, Mitch Winehouse.

The charge against Blake is a serious one of conspiracy with a witness. Blake had assaulted a bar man with grievous bodily harm and the case might be heard in court on Monday. In U.K., a conviction for the perversion of justice might carry a life sentence in prison.

Amy has pledged her support to Blake. Her mother-in-law, Georgette Civil, has said that Amy was upset and teary eyed.

Mitch Winehouse has also confirmed that both sets of parents will provide their children with all their support.
