Bree Tierney was privately engaged to Riley Giles, a snowboarder, before he checked into Cirque Lodge in Utah. Imagine her surprise when he checked out a different man in more ways than one.

Riley Giles turned into a new leaf that preferred Lindsay Lohan over Bree Tierney. With his new found love and courage, he messaged Bree to announce the good news that he freed himself from their engagement.

Bree tried to avoid sounding like the fox who screamed sour grapes. She rationalized that Riley is a sponge who soaked up for his own benefit. She made an omniscient prediction in her own words, “She actually did me a favor. I know Riley well enough to know that every action he takes is to benefit himself. He’s just looking for publicity.”

Bree also revealed that Lindsay tried to befriend her during a meeting. She had thought it suspicious that Lindsay would be interested to talk to her and her fears have been confirmed.

So Bree does not want to join the British club of friendly ex-lovers. Sigh.
