Call to boycott Britney Spears’ album. Would you?
Posted on October 23, 2007The “Be Proactive to Help Website” is the latest fad to jump into the bandwagon of getting some free Britney Spears publicity. This group claims to desire to help Britney by forcing her record label to become law enforcers and surrogate parents.
This special group is located online at the mother of all special groupies; the MySpace blogsphere.
Groupie members comprise of disgruntled ex-bodyguard, ex-backup dancer, ex-makeup artist and several non-hot, old friends. Get the picture now?
Britney’s label, Jive Records, was still scrambling around trying to assemble some statement at press time so they are dumb for now. For all we know, any call to boycott or buy “Blackout” is actually another sales gimmick to milk the cash cows. This is too much of a contrived situation to be seriously real. Just think about it. “Friends” calling for a blackout boycott on “Blackout”. How coincidental can that be?
Yes? No?
