Twiggy’s £1.5 million advice for young and older women. (Free for readers here)
Posted on October 22, 2007Twiggy writes for the publisher Penguin in “Those Fab Forties, Fifties and Sixties”. She will reveal her secrets on maintaining image, makeup and skin care. The book will be on the shelves in June 2008. Other celebrities who write books are in the archive “Books“.
She gives us some hints on what is in store inside her book. This list gives pointers for older women. Just do the reverse for younger women and viola! You have Twiggy’s formula for younger women too. (Kidding.)
This is what Twiggy looked like when she was famous in the 1960s.
First, a peep at what is in store for the seniors or those above 25 years old:
1) You can be just as seductive with your clothes on then off.
2) Scintillate and tease with tights for your legs.
3) Jewelry should be worn sparingly and tastefully.
4) Keep a mid-length hairstyle to accentuate your face.
5) Knitwear is the slimmer’s enemy as it adds bulk.
6) Say no to furs and be PETA’s friend forever.
7) Use warm or neutral colors to bring out the natural glow in your complexion.
8. Apply makeup sparingly.
Twiggy, aka Leslie Hornby, is currently 58 and still married to her second husband, Leigh Lawson, an actor. Other celebrities who dribble in Fashion are in the archive called Celebrity Fashion.
