Petra Nemcova is the latest model for lingerie brand, La Senza. Her predecessors were Gemma Atkinson and Sophie Anderton. Petra said she loved modeling the lingerie. Looking at the expensive and luxurious materials, it is no wonder that she said she felt great in them.

Petra seemed to have survived her tragedy of losing her fiancé, British photographer Simon Atlee, to the tsunami calamity in 2004. Petra was lucky as she clung onto a tree for 8 hours before she was rescued.

Her personal bereavement and recovery has led her to direct some efforts towards her own charity, named Happy Hearts. This charity raises money for children who are victims of the 2004 tsunami. Petra has come a long way from her days in her hometown in Czechoslovakia. Her cover girl looks on Sports Illustrated has brought her to places and heights she had never dreamed about while in Czechoslovakia.
