Radiohead, Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Madonna, Bobby Brown, MC Hammer, J. Lo & Lil’ Wayne.
Posted on October 14, 2007 The best news in music for this week.
British band Radiohead is starting a new business model for selling music. They leave it to their fans to pay whatever they like to buy their music! What happens if the fan is broke and pays one cent?
Radiohead is taking this gamble despite the capital investment of $60 000 recoding fees. They are confident of recovering any shortfall when they start selling their stadium tour tickets. They anticipate sell-out capacity.
Michael Jackson is planning a comeback album. He intends to stand on his colored brothers’ shoulders. The kind artistes are rumored to be Will.I.Am, 50 Cent and Kanye West.
Britney Spears ’ album, “Blackout”, will be released earlier than usual due to the success of the leak marketing strategies. The record company has a beautiful date all picked out – October 30.
Madonna has annulled her contract with Warner Bros and joined LiveNation for her new $120 million deal.
Bobby Brown, MC Hammer and J. Lo have denied rumors about their health and body status. They are in singing good health.
Lil’ Wayne was arrested but released on bond. His P.R. representative insisted that some clerical omissions caused the celebrity to be mistaken for a fugitive on the run. Some communication about his past case did not reach him and the bureaucratic red tape carried on the procedures against him. So, the red tape administrators should be red faced, not Lil’ Wayne.
Its all good news for music.
