If Nick Lachey does marry anybody, it will be his second marriage. His ex-wife, Jessica Simpson, is currently struggling with her work projects. Nick supposedly laid down the condition that Vanessa should sign a pre-nuptial.

Vanessa has her idea of an engagement ring in mind. It has a huge diamond, flanked by two smaller diamonds. One pundit wrote that Nick Lachey will not marry without his safety net and Vanessa can follow up on her promise to go hit the road.
