Gisele Bundchen, Tom Brady’s latest squeeze, is currently in Melbourne, Australia, to promote her new Ipanema shoe range for the company called Novo. These shoes look like casual sandals whose straps are very plain, more nondescript than Ugly Betty.

Somehow, the designer felt that the soles needed all the attention, so illustrative graphics were printed on the soles. They’re only there for the eyes of the wearer. Another useful function would be to mask and absorb sweat and grime from perspiring feet.
Gisele does what she is paid to do. She displayed no inclination of differentiating what shoe taste to project as part of her image. If critics labeled the shoe ugly, it did reflect on the people behind the shoe.
It looks like the shoe line called Ipanema Gisele Bundchen, caters to casual dressers who might enjoy a bit of Gisele glamour while grocery shopping or hanging out at the beach.

These are quite possibly the ugliest, cheapest looking sandals I’ve ever seen in my life. And speaking of ugly & cheap…Gisele wouldn’t be caught dead in these shoes, which just adds to her image of a fake.
