Mary Kate Olsen evangelizes beyond the box.

Mary Kate Olsen hams it up for her role in “Weeds”, where she portrays a Christian who sees God’s love manifested in mankind. She played out her character when she and her twin, Ashley Olsen, encountered a fan outside Beatrice Inn.

In a frenzy of creepy takeover, Mary Kate grabbed her fan, ruffled his hair like a matronly woman would and then released him with a peck on his cheek. Facial cheek, that is. Mary Kate proclaimed loudly, “Christ saves all! I save all!” Her hair tingling repartee was, “…consider yourself saved!”

Mary Kate does have a way around people. She hangs loose close to her co-stars in the TV series “Weeds”. She snakes her way up close for the close-up shots. That helps the cameraman to focus and give us the shakes. It is a lil’ creepy when someone comes up that close and invades your personal, private space. On the plus side, she shows confidence in her personalized approach. Kudos.
