It looks like some old snack got unearthed from under the bed. The old Hilary Duff-Joel Madden hit-and-run romance. Maybe there was a hit at romancing but that sure has got run off. They are reported to be on friendly terms with each other now. Hilary Duff has just received a big birthday present from her current boyfriend, hockey player, Mike Comrie. We all know the stability and security a hockey player has over a rock singer.

Mike surprised Hilary by delivering a brand new Mercedes-Benz G-class SUV well in advance for her birthday. The car retails for more than $100 000. He was too shy to send it himself so he left it parked in Hilary’s sister’s garage. Hilary knows her worth now and will definitely be pulling her strings right.

When a writer from People’s magazine teased Hilary about dropping hints for her next birthday present, Hilary laughed it off. No, she does not expect a ring anytime soon. After all, she’s only 20 this year.
