Mary Kate Olsen and her twin sister, Ashley Olsen, have combined their wits to collaborate on a new line of clothing. Its called… drum roll please…. “Elizabeth and James” Collection. This fashionable brand borrows heavily into the Olsen personal philosophy. The sisters desire to encompass everything in fashion except the hefty price tags. They know that their young fans are not up to the mark to buy the expensive apparel celebrities own.

These enterprising celebrities have been selling their brand of affordable designer T-shirts since practically day one when they hawked their stuff on their web space at MySpace. On Tuesday, Ashley talked about “Elizabeth and James” to WomenWear Daily. The good wage earner will find the prices affordable at $90 for a T Shirt and $375 for a jacket. A dress costs a cool $450 per piece. Guess the tag for a cashmere coat - $995. Cashmere is just the right antidote to nurse the shivers.
Last but not least, only the high end specialty shops like Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman and Intermix can afford to sell the Olsens’ affordable fashion brand.
