Paris Hilton ditches sister’s fashion debut for the MTV VMA’s

Nicky Hilton, 23, the other Hilton heiress, introduced her fashion collection Nicholai (which is her real name) Sunday night during New York Fashion Week. Nicky has had success with a line of handbags in Japan and a sportswear collection launched three years ago. The Nicholai collection debuted included bandeau bikinis, summer dresses in bright colors, and silk jersey evening gowns.

Nicky’s parents, Rick and Kathy, attended the show along with Nicky’s boyfriend, David Katzenberg. Family friend Brandon Davis also showed his support for the fashionista. Paris Hilton was noticably absent but showed up on the red carpet at the MTV VMA’s. Way to show support for your sister Paris!

      How funny… Paris Hilton ditched Nicky Hilton to hang with Nicky’s ex Kevin Connolly and new pal Adrian Grenier at the VMAs. Hmmm… what happened to blood being thicker than water? Oh yeah, but media attention is more important than family.. right, Paris.
