Casey Affleck and Summer Phoenix Expecting Second Baby

There’s a new baby on the way for Casey Affleck and wife Summer Phoenix. Phoenix is the younger sister of actors Joaquin and the late River Phoenix. The couple met through Joaquin Phoenix, whom Affleck worked with on To Die For, and became engaged in New York City over the 2003 Christmas holiday. The pair tied the knot last June after dating for six years. The couple’s first child, Indiana August, was born in Amsterdam in 2004.

Affleck can be seen next in the upcoming release The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Fordopposite Brad Pitt and in older bro Ben’s directorial debut Gone Baby Gone, out in October.

Uncle Ben recently told the Boston Herald, “This is the autumn of Casey Affleck. His career is really going to blow up.”
