Jay-Z to Open 40/40 Nightclub in Vegas

Hip-hop mogul Jay-Z announced Thursday, September 6, 2007, at a press conference in Las Vegas his plans to open his third 40/40 Club at the luxury Palazzo hotel. The 24,000 square foot ultra sports bar and lounge is expected to open on December 21, 2007 with a gala grand opening party. Amenities of the new upscale $20 million club will include boast 24-karat gold and platinum floors, 85 plasma TVs and an impressive five VIP rooms.

Press on hand for the announcement took the opportunity to ask Jay-Z about any future plans he may have of popping the question to long-time girlfriend Beyonce. The rapper would only comment, “One day soon – let’s leave it at that.”

When this superstar duo finally do take the matrimonial plunge, their wedding is bound to be ultra-fabulous. It’s anyones guess when that’s likely to happen though. The couple have been dating for more than four years with no word of pending nuptials in sight.
