Pillow talk book about J. Lo nipped in the bud.
Posted on September 5, 2007AP Photo. Jennifer Lopez, more popularly known as J. Lo, with her first husband, Ojani Noa, during their married, happier times in 1997.
Woo hoo! J. Lo proves you can’t kiss and tell on her.
Jennifer Lopez wins an arbitration law suit against her former first husband, Ojani Noa. The permanent injunction prohibits him from disclosing all negative information resulting from privileged proximity with her during their marriage from February 1997 – December 1997.
Noa is unrepresented in court, which tells his financial state and his desire to publish a book on pillow talk between what transpired him and his ex-wife. In a clear bid to blackmail, Lopez faced a counter offer of $5 million to buy the rights of the ghost written book.
Noa had earlier accepted a paltry $125 000 in 2005 for his dismissal from Lopez’ restaurant, Madre, in Pasadena. When the money runs dry, he yanks the invisible chain. Instead of a windfall, he is slapped with the hefty $545 000 court award in favor of Lopez.
Once bitten, twice enamored to sue for more.
