Things are Looking Up for Nicole Richie

The media has been buzzing with news about Linday Lohan’s lucky plea bargain which will likely result in only one to four days in jail while Nicole Richie caught her own lucky break at Lynwood Correctinal Facility.
The official website of the L.A. Sheriff’s Department reported that the reality star showed up at Lynwood to serve her four day jail sentence but was released one hour later due to over-crowding. Richie was arrested last December for driving the wrong way on an L.A freeway while under the influence. She was given one day of credit for the six hours she spent behind bars following her arrest.
Meanwhile, Nicole’s dad, singer Lionel Ritchie, has purchased a two-bedroom town home in Los Angeles’ Century City area from actor Dennis Franz that had been listed for $1,395,000. He allegedly bought the property as a surprise for Nicole and her rocker boyfriend, Joel Madden, who are expecting their first child.
Features in the 2,274-square-foot town home include two and a half baths, a master bedroom suite with a sitting area and a walk-in closet, a living room with a fireplace, a three-car garage, and a formal dining room, according to listing information.
