Justin Timberlake Movie and Awards News

E!Online.com reports that Justin Timberlake will join Mike Myers, Jessica Alba, and Verne Troyer in an upcoming big screen comedy called The Love Guru. The movie, created by Mike Myers, centers around an orphaned American boy raised by an Indian ashram by a group of gurus. He returns to the U.S. and becomes a self-help sensation. He’s enlisted to assist a hockey player and his wife reconcile their differences.

Timberlake will reportedly play the role of a hockey star who begins dating his rival skater’s estranged wife out of revenge. Production for the movie is slated to begin in Toronto in September.

Justin has been nominated for seven MTV Video Music Awards and is set to perform aqt the music show. There are rumors circulating that he may team up with Madonna at the Las Vegas ceremony. Timberlake will also be honored with a Teen Choice Award for his tv, movie, and music projects this weekend.
