Tyra Banks Parting Company with Her Manager

Supermodel turned TV talk show host has reportedly fired her manager Benny Medina though she’s claiming the parting of company is a friendly split. The New York Daily News quoted a source, however, as saying, “his (Medina) perk list is bigger than hers. Everything from private jets and votive candles that the staff has to light before he gets to the set. He forgot who the star was.” TelePictures, the company who syndicates Bank’s talk show claims that Medina will continue as an executive consultant on the show despite the fact that he will no longer be representing Tyra as her manager.

Tyra has recently been romantically linked with investment banker John Utendahl. America’s Next Top Model, created and hosted, by Banks premieres Sept. 19. The new season of The Tyra Banks Show premiers on Sept. 10.
