Avril Lavigne, Sheryl Crow and Fiona Apple Headlining Festival
Posted on August 22, 2007
According to Billboard.com, Avril Lavigne, Sheryl Crow and Fiona Apple will headline the first Girlfrenzy music festival, to be held Oct. 27 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Irvine, Calif. Colbie Caillat, Sara Bareilles and Antigone Rising are also scheduled to perform. Tickets for Girlfrenzy go on sale Saturday (Aug. 25) via Ticketmaster. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The concert comes as 45-year-old Crow returns to music after taking a short break following the adoption of her four-month-old son Wyatt Steven in May. Lavigne hit No. 1 on the U.S. charts in April with her album “The Best Damn Thing” but has been grappling with public accusations of plagiarism. Apple is working on a follow-up to her Grammy-nominated “Extraordinary Machines,” which debuted last year in the Top 10.
Updates and more information about the all girl festival can be found at http://www.girlfrenzyfestival.com.

That’s dumb! Avril’s not worthy enough to sing with Sheryl nor Fiona.
That would be sweet to go see Avril Lavigne in concert in Beijing China. Her tour date says it’s October 6th. After watching the olympics, I really want to visit Beijing now.
