Gisele Bündchen Ditching Her Angel Wings

Victoria’s Secret has announced that the lingerie company and Gisele Bündchen have parted ways. There are rumors circulating that Victoria’s Secret refused to increase Bündchen’s $5 million annual salary though the company didn’t release information concerning the reason for the 26-year-old Brazilian supermodel’s departure.
Chief Creative Officer Edward Razek simply stated in a statement released Tuesday, “We wish her all the best and thank her for her extraordinary work.”
Gisele certainly won’t be pressed by the loss of this income considering she was recently rated the World’s Richest Supermodel by Guinness World Records. Her fortune is estimated to be valued at $150 million.
Tabloids were buzzing with news about Bündchen’s alleged pregnancy with New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady earlier this year. The model denied the rumors stating, “I’m not pregnant and I’m not planning to be pregnant anytime soon. I have so many contracts to do, so many projects.”
Her commitment with Victoria’s Secrets is one less contract she’ll have to worry about fulfilling it seems.
