Jennifer Lopez was honored as Us Weekly’s Style Icon of the Year at the Us Hot Hollywood Style party Thursday night at L.A. club Sugar. Lopez arrived at the fashion-fest with husband Marc Anthony wearing a white Ralph Lauren pantsuit and Versace shoes.

Linday Lohan also received honors for her red carpet savvy. She made her appearance clad in a beige, cream, and black ballerina-inspired dress. Past winners of the magazine’s annual top style honor have included Jessica Alba and Jessica Simpson.

Us also recognized the “Hot 7 in ‘07” which included seven men and women celebs with outstanding fashion sense. The female hot trendsetters included Ali Larter, Rose McGowan, Ashlee Simpson, Lauren Conrad, Ciara, Rebecca Romijn and Carmen Electra. The guys named were Pete Wentz, Akon, Justin Chambers, Eric Mabius, Ryan Seacrest, and David Arquette.

The View cohost Rosie O’Donnell announced on Wednesday that she’s leaving the ABC talk show. The outspoken celeb said that she will be returning to guest host segments on topics such as autism and depression in the future.

Rosie said the departure was due to a breakdown in contract negotiations. “They wanted me three years, I wanted one year…and it just didn’t work,” she said. There are rumors, however, that negotiations may have fallen apart due to the issue of money. The funny lady says she plans to remain on The View full-time until her contract expires in June.

Barbara Walters stated on the show that she would miss Rosie’s presence very much despite Donald Trump’s recent remarks that Walters was somehow behind Rosie’s resignation. The billionaire and Rosie have been embroiled in a very public war of words since December of last year.

“People” Magazine today released its annual “100 Most Beautiful People” list. Drew Barrymore took the coveted cover from Angelina Jolie this year, though Jolie and Brad Pitt both made the list. The 32-year-old actress, recently signed as a CoverGirl model, credits her happy-go-lucky nature for her top spot on the list. Barrymore has been on the list four other times. She’s quoted as saying that making the cover “made made my peacock feathers shine in the golden-hour light and extend to the heavens.”

Barrymore is slated to star in the upcoming Warner Bros. film “Lucky You,” with Eric Bana and Robert Duvall. Drew portrays an aspiring singer in the flick while Bana’s character is a professional poker player.

Other celebrities making “People’s” list include: George Clooney, Oprah Winfrey, Alicia Keys, Leonardo DiCaprio, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Garner, Scarlett Johansson, Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Halle Berry, Julia Roberts and Jennifer Lopez.

Buzz has already started about the annual MTV Movie Awards set to air live for the first time on June 3 from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles. Sarah Silverman, known for her outrageous foul-mouthed antics, will be hosting the 16th annual Movie Award.

The 36-year-old actress-comedian has her own Comedy Central series, “The Sarah Silverman Program.” She also starred in a feature film-length version of her one-woman show, “Sarah Silverman: Jesus Is Magic.” Silverman is well-qualified for this gig. She recently hosted the Spirit Awards and made several appearances on last year’s MTV Video Music Awards.

Silverman will be joining previous MTV Music Award hosts that include Lindsay Lohan, Jack Black, and Ben Stiller. Jessica Alba reigned over the ceremony last year.

Beyonce has recently pulled editons of her “B’Day - Deluxe Edition” album and video anthology due to a pending lawsuit over her cover of of Des’ree’s “I’m Kissing You.” The singer and her label have agreed to stop distributing the albums and DVDs that include the song.

The Royalty Network, publishers for Des’ree, filed an agreement recently that Columbia and Sony would “engage in no gurther distribution” of the album or video anthoglogy until a preliminary injunction hearing on May 4th. The Royalty Network is seeking $150,000 in damages and an injunction to recall the deluxe edition from stores. The origninal song that’s causing so much controversy for Beyonce became a hit for Des’ree song when it appeared in the Leonardo DiCaprio/ Claire Danes movie “Romeo + Juliet” in 1996.

The New York Daily News recently reported that Tyra Banks failed to pay her dinner tab for a dinner at a Brooklyn diner. The supermodel/television host dined with Russell Simmons and his daughters when the dash and dine incident occurred.

Tyra defended herself on her daytime talk show. She claimed the incident was a misunderstanding between herself and Russell about who was going to take care of the bill. Tyra claims she didn’t even realize she had slighted the diner until she read the details in the New York Daily News.

Banks appeared today at the New York establishment to “settle up” her $100 dining debt. Tyra held her head high even with a gaggle of press following her. She reportedly also left an extra $100 tip for her waiter.

Hugh Grant has allegedly been busted again. The 46-year-old ex fiancé of Elizabeth Hurly reportedly tossed a tub of baked beans at photographer Ian Whittaker. There are also reports that Grant kicked him and kneed him near the groin.

The Metropolitan Police have told the Associated Press that no charges have been filed, but they did confirm that a 46-year-old man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of assault and released on bail.

This incident is a bit surprising from the mild-mannered Brit actor but he does have a wild side as his past very public romp with a prostitute revealed. And there are photos captured by the alleged victim that catch Hugh in the act of showering the paparazzi with the barbequed side dish.

An Indian court issued arrest warrants for Hollywood actor Richard Gere and Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty on Thursday. The warrants were based on a public kiss between the two that occurred at a recent HIV/AIDS awareness event. Gere allegedly embraced Shetty and kissed her several times on the cheek which, according to the court, “transgressed all limits of vulgarity.”

A local citizen filed a complaint stating that the public display of affection offended “local sensibilities. This is what prompted the courts to begin involved in the incident. Public displays of affection are taboo in India.

Gere left India shortly after the kissing incident and it’s not clear at this time how the warrant will affect him. Under Indian law a person convicted of public obscenity faces up to three months in prison, a fine, or both.

Gere is a frequent visitor to India. He is a huge supporter of health issues and the cause of Tibetan exiles in India. Gere is the hot hunk who has starred in films “An Officer and a Gentleman,” “American Gigolo” and “Pretty Woman.”

Shetty is well-known in India. She became an international star after her appearance on the British reality show “Celebrity Big Brother.” Shetty won the reality series competition after a fellow contestant made alleged racist comment to Shetty on the program.
