Naomi Campbell reports for sanitation duty

Supermodel Naomi Campbell reported Monday for her five days of community service at a sanitation garage. The model arrived on the scene wearing a pair of black stilettos – not exactly proper working footwear. But she did tow a pair of work boots over her shoulder as media surrounded her.

The 36-year-old is serving her sentence for her guilty plea to misdemeanor assault in an incident in which she threw a cell phone at her maid over a pair of jeans. The Manhattan District 3 Garage at Pier 36 is the same sanitation depot where Boy George of the former Culture Club recently fulfilled his community service debt. George reported a false burglary and when police arrived to investigate, they found the culture icon in possession of cocaine.

Naomi was also ordered to pay her former employee’s medical expenses and attend a short-term anger management program. Stay tuned to see of this slap on the hand will curb the high-profile model’s violent temper tantrums.
