Madonna moving family to New York City

Reports claim that Madonna is planning to relocate her family to New York to be closer to her father who has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. According to “The New York Post,” Madonna has been looking at a 14,700-square-foot townhouse on East 62nd. Street. The seven-bedroom, 10-bathroom pad is going for $35 million. This Beaux Arts-style house includes marble floors, staircases and fireplaces, separate servants’ quarters a a gym and sauna. The 50-year-old singer also checked out homes on East 67th, East 69th and East 96th streets.

The pop diva now spends most of her time with her three children in London after marrying British film director Guy Ritchie. Wonder if she’ll drop her acquired British accent when she returns to the States as a resident.
