Lindsay Lohan involved in a hit and run incident

In video posted on Access Hollywood’s Web site, the controversial actress is seen leaving the Manhattan nightclub Butter, and is surrounded by paparazzi. After getting in her car, Lohan tries pulling away. A photographer is seen rolling off of the hood of her BMW in the footage. He claims to have been hit by the party girl. Lindsay exits her BMW to see the photographer who is at this point on the ground. Lohan left the scene in a bodyguard’s car.

There are reports that Lindsay did return to the scene to talk with police officers that arrived. The starlet was released without incident after talking with officials. The fallen photographer was taken to St. Vincent’s Hospital and treated for minor injuries.
The vote is still out on whether Lindsay driving recklessly or if the photographer staged the incident in the hopes of collecting compensation for his injuries.
