Beyonce wins at Soul Train Music Awards

Beyonce was nominated for three awards at the 21st Anniversary Soul Train Music Awards including best female album for “B’Day.” She also competed during the Saturday night award show for best female single for “Irreplaceable” and for the Michael Jackson Award for best music video. She ultimately walked away with Best Female R&B/Soul Single for “Irreplaceable.” Beyonce Knowle’s long-time boyfriend Jay-Z also snagged an award for Best R&B/Soul or Rap Music Video.
The Soul Train Music Awards are sponsored by the syndicated music show “Soul Train” and celebrate artists in R&B, hip-hop and gospel music. Winners are determined by a group of radio-station professionals, talent managers and performers.Highlights from the show will be broadcast in national syndication from March 17 through March 24.
