Michael Jackson in Tokyo this week

Michael Jackson is making public appearances in Tokyo this week. A dinner was held in the musician’s honor in which guests paid $3500 per person to attend.

Jackson attended another party for fans that cost $130 per ticket. The party hosted about 1000 fans at a Tokyo nightclub.

Jackson fled to Bahrain, France and a castle in Ireland after his 2005 acquittal on child molestation charges in the United States. The controversial pop icon now lives in Las Vegas. There have been reports that the 48-year-old musician is trying to revive his career with his troubles behind him.
