Johnny Depp’s daughter seriously ill

In Touch magazine recently reported that Johnny Depp’s seven-year-old daughter, Lily-Rose, is being treated for blood poisoning at a British hospital. The magazine asserts that the child contracted the blood poisoning by stepping on a rusty nail.

Vanessa Paradis, Depp’s girlfriend of nine years, is Lily-Rose’s mother. Reports indicate that the couple have been close to Lily-Rose’s side throughout her ordeal.

Depp’s publicist said Thursday, “We are happy to report that their daughter is doing much better. The family greatly appreciates the continued support and respect of their privacy.”
